The DIY4U project aimed to build a hybrid blockchain‑enabled B2B/B2C digital platform combined with on‑demand small‑scale manufacturing “fab labs” for the design and production of customised powdered and liquid FMCG products, such as detergents and soaps.
Contributing to the blockchain or distributed ledger technology architecture, ensuring secure, transparent collaboration on the platform.
Participating in platform development, possibly in areas such as access control, data integrity, or inter‑stakeholder coordination.
Assisting in dissemination, outreach, or integration of Open Innovation tools, such as workshops, webinars, or SME engagement through Open Innovation Competitions .
Transylvania Labs was founded in 2004. The strategic focus is on Business Driven Research and Development for applied Computer Science commercial projects. The business and sales office is in Tampa (Florida, US) and the research and development office in Sibiu (Romania, EU). We are 17 people (3 partners, 8 employees, 4 consultants, 2 remote external collaborators) with an average work experience/individual of 18 years.
