Lampa Studio has been involved as experts in the development of a new version of Virgin Radio in 2019. The Lampa team was faced with the task of completely redoing the application, replacing the outdated visual and technical part of the first version, taking into account the application of the most relevant development approaches.

Virgin is one of the most recognizable brands all over the world, so from the UI point of view (user interaction with an interface) the app had to be perfect. At the same time, the application was supposed to resolve the main challenge – simple and trivial access to two favorite radio stations.

For the convenience of users the application was improved with the ability to play audio in the background. Also user was allowed to control the player activity via notification curtain. For greater user engagement quick links to social networks of the radio stations have been added.

Virgin Radio app supports a huge number of audio formats and works stably even on old devices. The application is currently available on the Play Market and has been downloaded over 10,000 times already.
