The site is based on fully custom WordPress theme and has highly advanced frontend. The custom theme uses HTML5 video player and identical Flash video player for browsers without HTML5 support.
Full-screen videos are used as backgrounds. Additionally for every page full-screen background image can be assigned. It is important to note that for making full-screen background images and videos proportional transformation with cropping was applied which allows to avoid squeezing image from any side. Usage of standard WordPress media uploader makes the process of adding video and images very clean, simple and native for every WordPress user.
Portfolio custom slider has own logic of setting the order of portfolio items and number of displayed rows depending on monitor resolution. The result changes number of items on the screen and avoids vertical browser scroll. For example, on the small monitor it could be 1-2 rows and on the big one it could be 5 rows. Each portfolio page can display its own background image.
