Customer is supplying dental laboratories with all equipment required to create and construct digitalized models of the dental prostheses they want to manufacture. This equipment consists of different 3D scanners as well as specialized CAD software.
This application helps the end-users to manage and review the whole process chain for creating dental prostheses: From basic organizer functions, like appointments and address book, to managing CAD and orders.
The design process is the central feature of the application. Here, the user can specify the dentalProject XML file in order to build the required CAD files. The user can specify the treatment plan for each tooth by simply clicking on the tooth itself or by clicking on “Add Tooth” and selection the tooth from a list.
This leads the user to a selection process, where the user may specify the tooth’ reconstruction type, the material and additional properties.
