Starting as a high-quality textile production in 2006, Ido Fashion scaled up its business scope and started the production of its own clothing line. With their brand being established, they stepped into the digital world to expand their reach.
Ido Fashion is a family-owned business that specializes in textile finishing. They offer a variety of services, including embroidery, printing, and labeling. Their products are used by a variety of businesses, including medical practices, restaurants, hotels, and industrial companies. They also have their own line of high-quality clothing.
No significant challenges were faced throughout the process, however translating the pre-written C# code to Next.js and Nest.js was some kind of challenge. But as we had prior experience with similar conversions, such as Ruby to React.js, it made the process so much smoother and easier.
We assigned a senior full stack developer for this project who effectively handled the custom development from scratch. Unlike many e-commerce projects that rely on pre-built platforms like WordPress or Shopify, we opted for custom development. This approach allowed us to tailor the application to Ido Fashion's unique needs and avoid limitations imposed by generic solutions.
We built Ido Fashion from the ground up by taking on the full-cycle development approach. We maintained open communication with the client through regular meetings, discussing progress, addressing concerns, and gathering feedback. We adopted an Agile methodology to deliver value incrementally and adapt to changing requirements. We utilized tools like Jira and Slack to track tasks, assign responsibilities, monitor progress and keep up daily communication.
The project was successfully completed using modern tech stack, resulting in a fully functional website with intuitive interface and user-friendly experience.
