Our development team worked closely with Active Gaming Media, the company focused on localization, debugging, marketing, promotion and delivering Japanese digital content to European, Asian, American markets.
Scope of work involved design & development of high-profile, database driven multilingual, responsive web shop application (marketplace for indie games). One of the key project challenges was data migration from the old system (user accounts and products). Platform is hosted on scalable Amazon deployment space - AWS Elastic Beanstalk, fully utilizing its scalability features.
During over 7 months of development we’ve deployed various web app features such as message boards (each game has a dedicated board allow for discussion), custom game recommendation mechanism, game reviews, user generated games lists, bespoke promotional campaigns, dedicated contribution mechanism with price suggestion component built-in (functionality that allows every registered game developer to contribute and publish their own game within a platform) and more.
Finally, due to to multiple languages available, we have integrated the platform with more than one payment gateway: Paypal, WebMonkey, Bitcach.
