Brief
The main purpose of the campaign was to build awareness of lrytas.lt news portal and to attract more new readers.
Insight
After the appearance of social media, much more users switched to catching up with the daily news directly on their news feed rather than going to the news portals.
Solution
We built the first Lithuanian social reader app that allowed users to catch up with the daily news directly on their Facebook newsfeed. It also enabled users to share relevant news with their Facebook friends. Each article read on the social reader became a recommendation in the newsfeed for their acquaintances.
Everything gets digitally connected at an ever increasing pace. This transition is both thrilling and alerting – it opens up many new ways of communication and sales, but it also requires a fundamental change in thinking.
